People also visit the temples and offer prayers to Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha on this day to bring happiness, prosperity and good luck. This day is also important for all the business owners as for them it marks the beginning of the Financial Year. All the business owners open the new ledger book on this day. People also prepare delicious meals and enjoy them with their families and friends. They also decorate their houses and purchase silver and gold items. Also, Good Friday or Holy Friday will be observed on 15th April, followed by Easter (17th April 2022, Sunday). People pray in church and gain blessings.
